North Sydney is both a business and residential district. Just 10 minutes from the CBD, Neutral Bay, St Leonards and Sydney Tanning, North Sydney is considered a very central location. North Sydney is approximately 15-20mins from Chatswood, Manly and Frenchs Forest.

With the North Shore railway line stopping at North Sydney Station, Sydney Tanning is just a short 10 minute walk up to Crows Nest. Pacific Hwy, Miller St and West St all run directly from North Sydney up to Sydney Tanning. St Leonards train station is also nearby and is approximately 10 minutes walk via the Pacific Hwy from where we are located on the corner of West St & Ernest St.

Regular bus services ensure cheap and reliable transport through North Sydney and generally run via the Pacific Hwy or Miller St. Most buses usually go to the CBD, Chatswood, Neutral Bay and Manly.

North Sydney has predominantly metred parking which is somewhat limited, however Sydney Tanning have free off-street parking and there is also free parking in the 2hr zones surrounding our premises. North Sydney has several parking stations but rates and casual parking availability remains individual to each one.

Gourmet eateries and modern bars line the main streets of North Sydney, along with a few high street stores but Greenwood Plaza and Northpoint house the majority of the shops in North Sydney.
